Have you heard of taking a selfie? Of course you have. Selfies have become so popular that the word was added to the Oxford Dictionary this year. There is even an absolutely ridiculous song about taking selfies. Now, personally, I’m not a huge fan of the selfie craze, but when I found out about pet selfies my whole attitude changed.
Pet selfies are hysterical and so much fun for the human to try and help their pet capture. Just check out this and you’ll understand what I mean. I have never tried to get a selfie of Mauja or Atka, but after hearing about this pawsome competition I’m going to give it a try!
From June 3rd to July 3rd, buyagift.com is holding a pet selfie competition to raise money for two UK based animal charities, Angels Animal Rescue and Wood Green, The Animals Charity in North London and Cambridgeshire. This pet selfie competition is coming after a wildly successful pet model campaign last year. Let me tell you, I am excited!

That’s it! Buyagift.com will pick 5 semi-finalists. The 2 photos with the most “likes” will be sent to Angels Animal Rescue and Wood Green, The Animals Charity in North London and Cambridgeshire where they will determine the winner!
