It's Dog Or Nothing - fur, slobber, and dirty floors
Hey everyone! Sorry I didn’t get a post out yesterday, but Wednesday was my husband’s birthday! Wooh! Now he can no longer say that I’m older than him. About time We had a wonderful celebration as a family and enjoyed some wild times.

Anyway… I have been invited to join the PAWSOME writing process blog tour by Asia over at Destiny’s Dog Blog! I have been loving this blog tour! It is so much fun to learn about the writing process behind some of my favorite blogs. If you missed it, head on over to Destiny’s Dog Blog and read all about her writing process!
1. What am I working on?
Oh goodness gracious… I really should have included a picture of my desk before I cleaned it. I have piles upon piles of ideas that I’m itching to write about! I would love to educate everyone a little bit more on the Great Pyrenees, but I’m trying to come up with a more interesting way to do it. My creative juices will show up eventually
I came up with a couple of treat recipes that I need to test out to make sure they work so I can share them with you! I’m also working on a DIY, inexpensive dog bed tutorial. I was supposed to have that done awhile ago, but I had a glitch with my sewing machine that I’m working on figuring out.
I also have a few products in the works so I can open my own store! Eep! This blogging world is taking over my life and I’m loving it!
2. Why do I write what I do?
Excellent question. I have to credit my blog and writing to my husband. I’m the kind of person that will research something for days so I can learn every possible thing about the subject. If someone makes a comment about a new toy, treat, training method, or theory, I am digging through books so I can find the most accurate and current answer.
People started asking for my opinion on different subjects. If I didn’t know the answer (which often times I didn’t), I would start researching. I love that there are always new products and ideas emerging for me to try and understand. I became so passionate about all things dog that Nick suggested I start a blog. After realizing that 99% of posts on my Facebook were about my dogs, I decided he was right.
I love blogging. I can’t believe it took me so long to get started. I have the opportunity to learn from people and brands from all over the world. I’m learning more ways to keep my dogs as happy and healthy as possible. I love getting to write about something I’m so passionate about. Even better? People actually read it and seem to find it interesting, too! I feel like I’ve made so many friends since I began blogging. I keep up with your animals, your family, and your life. Hopefully, I get to meet some of you in person at BlogPaws Nashville!
Long story short, I write because it’s my passion.
3. How does my writing process work?
Oye. I have never been a very organized person. I really want to be and I always come up with new methods to keep me organized, but they never seem to last very long. I’ve read that many of you keep an editorial calendar to keep track of what you want to post and when. I tried to write out ideas for a week and then never followed it. Things came up or I decided that I really wanted to write about something else, so I just ignored it and never came back.
So, if I’m being honest, my blog post for the day is typically done the night before. I spend my free time during the day visiting other blogs and trying to keep up with everyone on social media. Once I’ve decided on my idea, I have a photo shoot with the dogs and get writing. I’m sure it’s not the most effective way, but it’s what works for me right now! Typically, I have some spare pictures or ideas in my mind that I can use for a post if I’m stumped or short on time.
And nowww…. here are my picks to continue the writing process tour. Make sure you hop on over and check them out!
