It's Dog Or Nothing - fur, slobber, and dirty floors
This weekend we attended an adoption event. Several rescues, the local shelter, and the humane society all banded together to try and get dogs (and a few cats) furever homes. I always know these events will make me sad and want another dog, but I want to go anyway.
The adoption event was held outside in a huge shaded area near the dog park.
We had fun loving up on all the dogs there.
After leaving the adoption event, I was sad (shocker). I have a really hard time seeing all of the homeless dogs. Nick and I decided we wanted to go home and have a nice evening with our pups to put ourselves in a good mood.
After plentiful cuddles, a car ride, and a long walk in a new area, this happened…
Ice cream is an extremely rare treat in our house. I can’t tell you the last time they were allowed such an indulgence. We had some happy babies that night! Our moods were definitely lifted as well
