It's Dog Or Nothing - fur, slobber, and dirty floors
I have two “guard” dogs.
Lazy guard dogs.
Do your dogs bark when the doorbell rings? Go running to the door? Hide in the back room?
You’d think guard dogs would bark when the doorbell rings.
Not my guard dogs.

My #PUPtectors are a combination of social butterflies and barking buzzers.
They don’t typically bark at the doorbell, but they will bark at basically any other noise. When someone comes to the door, they just want to get some love.I’m not going to count on Mauja and Atka to keep the place on lock down (although, I know if anyone came near myself or Nick, they wouldn’t be happy).
Investing in a security system is something we have talked about doing for a long time. Honestly, we don’t even want it for the security. We’re more interested in being able to watch what our pups are up to during the day. We’ve had a few fosters and I’d love to be able to see how they actually are while we’re gone. We used to have Skype set up for Kaeto to keep track of him, but it didn’t work too well.
I love that DropCam allows you to keep track of your home through your mobile device. I’m sure I’d go a little ‘mom crazy’ with 24/7 access to watching the dogs though. I can’t be the only one!
What kind of #PUPtector do you have? Would you consider installing a home security system to keep track of your pups?
Disclaimer: I was not compensated in any way for this post. I received word of the #PUPtector campaign and thought it was a fun idea that others would enjoy.
